Frequently Asked Questions
To help you plan your visit to the show, we have put together some answers to a few frequently asked questions:
Q: "I bought 2 tickets to the show and 2 theatre seats and in the envelope you sent me there are only 2 tickets?"
A: Your entry tickets also contains information on your seats (the session time and the block you will be sitting in), so you will only have 2 tickets in the envelope.
Q: "I have changed my address/email address, can you send tickets to the new details please?"
A: All tickets have now been posted and e-mailed out and we are not able to send duplicates pre-event. If you have not been able to get your post forwarded, or access your old email account by 5 days before the event, please email your booking reference number to gadgetshow@eventcommunity.co.uk and we will see what we can do to help. There may be an additional charge.
Q: "I have ordered tickets/e-tickets but they have not arrived yet"
A: All tickets have now been posted and e-mailed. Any e-tickets that have been marked as "undeliverable" have been switched to postal tickets and you should have them shortly. If you have not received your tickets by 5 days before the event, please email your booking reference number to gadgetshow@eventcommunity.co.uk and we will be able to help you.
Q: "I can't now come to the show, can I have a refund?"
A: We are sorry, but we are not able to refund tickets for people who can't make it. Ticket Terms & Conditions can be found on the Ticket Booking page of the event website.
Q: "Can I switch to another day/come on any day of the event?"
A: Unfortunately, tickets are only valid for the day indicated and now that the event has sold out Thursday to Sunday, we can't change ticket dates
Q: "We have one of our party in a wheelchair with a carer, where is my ticket for the carer?"
A: We are happy to accommodate carers at the event, just make yourself known at the entrance and our staff will be able to help. For the Super Theatre we are able to sit family groups with/near wheelchair users.
Q: "Can I buy things at the show?"
A: Absolutely, most exhibitors will be retailing from their stands and many will be offering special promotions at the show.
Q: "When is the best time to visit the show?"
A: The event is open from 1pm - 5:30pm on Wednesday 7th April and 9:30am - 5:30pm on the other days. Last year we experienced long queues early in the morning so unless you need to be in the hall early (ie: If you have a Super Theatre ticket for 11am) you may prefer to come a little later in the day to avoid queuing.
Q: "How do I get to the show"
A: Take a look at the travel and accommodation page on our website for information and links for car parking and public transport.
Q: "Can we still book tickets for friends & family?"
A: We do still have a limited number of tickets available for our preview on the afternoon of Wednesday 7th but all other days are completely sold out. If you want to book tickets to the preview you can book online here
